We used to look at other software as the definitive in basic video editing. But recently, with the lack of support and extremely buggy and slow software we were forced to look at something else. Something that is extremely easy to understand yet powerful enough for more demanding work. Something that can handle any format we can drop on it. Something that is less resource hungry and fast.
Besides all of that, we also wanted something that can work in a Roaming Profile Active
Directory environment. We already had a dedicated server with all the PCs Gigabit Ethernet
connected. All we needed was the software….
CyberLink’s PowerDirector was that something. All the formats we could get, it handled
flawlessly, and very fast!
And our students have no problems to understand and use the package. It’s a real pleasure to
do some video editing again.
